ADVERTISING SALES CONSULTANT
Examiner.com, a Top 100 website and one of the fastest growing internet companies, is looking for a dynamic Ad Sales Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling online advertising space to local businesses for the Columbus edition of Examiner.com. Our local and hyper-local business model provides a great advantage for local advertising. Serving 234 U.S. markets and 6 Canadian markets, Examiner.com connects consumers with a premium blend of news and information from the best local sources. The successful candidate will work effectively with headquarters and the Local Market Director to develop and execute sales strategies that generate ongoing advertising revenue. This is a commission-based, contract position (25%for sales and residuals). We offer full and part time positions with a flexible schedule, virtual office, a great training program and support, sales materials and the opportunity to work for a growing website in a hot market. Job Requirements: * 2+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success * Advertising / media sales a plus * Established elationships with local businesses * Social Media networking experience a plus (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In) * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Proficient computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Web 2.0) * Must have a well-functioning home office or other professional space to work from, a drivers license and vehicle * Bachelors degree preferred but not required Examiner.com is a division of the Clarity Media Group, and is wholly owned by The Anschutz Company, one of the largest media investment companies in the world. |
