ELECTRICAL- MECHANICAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – OVERHEAD CRANES, COLUMBIA, JEFFERSON CITY, MO.

$35,000 to $45,000 ($17 to $22 per hour to start, based on your level of experience) plus full employee and medical/dental benefits, company vehicle, time and a half overtime pay and a solid opportunity for career advancement.

Growth in the Columbia/Jefferson City, Missouri market area creates an opportunity for a technically inclined and career oriented individual with a hands-on background in the industrial electrical and mechanical fields.  In this position, we require an individual that has acquired solid technical training in the industrial electrical field (3 phase) and has an in-depth understanding of 3 phase motor control circuitry and related troubleshooting procedures.  The work will involve troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance services on industrial overhead cranes which consist of 3 phase motors (480 VAC), industrial motor controls, repairing motors, bearings and mechanical gearbox systems and other planned maintenance activities at Customer sites.  While not a requirement, if you have acquired hands-on maintenance background on industrial overhead cranes, this experience is valued and would be reflected in the compensation. 

Following a training period, part of which will include working with skilled Technicians with extensive field experience, you will take on the role of a Service Technician.  This work will involve working at Customers’ plants and requires individuals who are clear communicators, friendly by nature and able to professionally represent one of the most successful organizations in the industry. 

Once trained, you will be assigned a company vehicle and of course, a good driving record is a necessary requirement.  In addition, the work requires one that has no fear of heights.

This career opportunity offers an attractive base salary in the $35,000 to $45,000 range, depending upon your experience level, plus paid overtime which will normally add 20 to 25 percent to your base income per year. While not a requirement, if you do have hands-on maintenance background on industrial overhead cranes, this experience is valued and compensation would be higher.
